Some more #infographics for ya!
As part of a class assignment, I was fortunate enough to work with a group who designed some neat infographics after the rest of our class gathered the information we discussed in a whitepaper. We researched how Pinterest would be received in India and China and how the users of those countries could benefit from the burgeoning social network.
Below are the infographics I designed along with Steph Olsen, Emily Kamischke and Liz Shroyer to go along with our data, take a look!

Here is the first PSA I have ever gotten to make! Please check it out and let me know what you think!
Making a game out of it
These past few weeks in the Adobe Flash world have been stressful. In my Producing Interactive Media class, we were assigned our second major project of the semester: to create a game. Being the nerd that I am, I wanted to create a word game. The most obvious name of my game? WordNerd :) So what was so stressful about creating one of my favorite kind of games? Almost everything.
The code for this game was something I was unfamiliar with and I still struggle with understanding it. However, with the help of my professor and several students, I got my game to work… almost completely. The goal of the game is to create as many words as possible out of five different letters.
Without the help of my teacher and classmates, I may have utterly failed at completing this game on my own. Our professor told us today that one of the most important skills to have is the ability to know how to ask questions or ask for help. Employers like to know that their employees are wiling to ask for help when they need it to get the job done in the best way possible. I believe I am perfecting that skill this year. I am confident in knowing that I will always need help, and I’m not afraid to say that.
